Choosing Songs, Building Choreography, and Preparing for Performance
Building Your Own Dog Dance Routine
Dog dance isn't about performance; it's about conversation.
When you build a routine, you're not choreographing tricks in sequence; you're designing a shared language between you and your dog. The movements, the music, the pauses: all of it becomes a way of saying I see you, I'm with you, let's do this together.
In this section, you'll learn how to take the foundations you've been building: the behaviours, the connection, the rhythm of your training sessions ā and begin weaving them into something that's unmistakably yours.
There's no single right way to build a routine. There's only the way that fits your dog, your body, your music, and the story you want to tell.
The videos below will walk you through the process step by step. Watch first, then play.
Please download your student workbook before you begin to watch the video.
You may want to have an additional way to take notes as you go through the course.
