Behaviour & Training Support

Some dogs have big feelings. They're not bad dogs: they're dogs whose inner life is loud, whose reactions have been building, whose guardians are doing everything right and still feel stuck.

This is the work I do best.

I offer selective, relationship-first behaviour support for guardians whose dogs are genuinely central to their lives — people who love their dog the way most people love their family, and who need help from someone who understands that.

I work primarily with adolescent and adult dogs navigating reactivity, fear, and escalating behaviour. Not dogs with significant bite history, but dogs whose feelings are big and whose guardians are ready to do the work alongside them.

How it works

I work primarily through virtual behaviour support: remote consultations, guided practice, and ongoing coaching that fits into your real life.

For some cases, in-person day training is available: I work directly with your dog through focused sessions, then support you in carrying those skills into daily life through transfer sessions. Not every case is appropriate for day training; we'll figure out together what your dog actually needs.

This is not a quick fix; it's a relationship between you, your dog, and someone who takes both of you seriously.

behaviour support is application only, and I keep my caseload small on purpose.

Most clients find their way here through a referral. If you've been pointed in my direction, or if something here feels like it was written for you, please reach out.

Not sure if we're the right fit?

I'm happy to help you find the right support even if that's not me.

Families with children are often better served by a trainer who specializes in family dynamics. I recommend Shir at Another Chance Dog Training.

For separation anxiety, I refer to Gabrielle Plascak, a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). You can book a free call with her at K9 Separation Solutions.

For reactivity support in a group setting, I refer to Copilot Dog Training.

For board and train programs (the only one I trust) and most aggression cases, I refer to Liz at Freedom Found Dogs.

If you're looking for support I'm not the right fit for, reach out anyway.

I'd rather help you find the right person than leave you without one.
