Senior & End-of-Life Support

Compassionate support at meaningful thresholds

Living with a senior or complex dog brings a different rhythm.

Bodies change. Needs shift. Sometimes behaviour, pain, safety, or quality of life raise questions that feel heavier and more personal than anyone prepares you for.

Senior & End-of-Life Support is offered for guardians navigating aging, decline, and difficult decisions — including end-of-life and behavioral euthanasia — with care, clarity, and respect for their dogs and the relationships they share.

This work is not about fixing problems or pushing outcomes. It is about supporting quality of life, easing transitions, and helping you feel less alone as you move through decisions that are often made quietly and without enough support.

What this support looks like

This support is offered as ongoing accompaniment, rather than one-off sessions.

Most guardians begin with a longer, grounding conversation to talk through what’s happening now: physically, emotionally, and practically. From there, support continues through gentle check-ins as needs shift over time.

  • talking through changes related to aging, illness, or decline

  • guidance around comfort, routine adjustments, and daily care

  • help interpreting behavior changes with compassion and context

  • support around quality-of-life questions

  • calm, non-judgmental conversation around end-of-life decisions, including behavioral euthanasia (BE), when relevant

❋ Support may include:

There is no agenda beyond supporting what matters most in this moment.

❋ Who this support is for

This offering may be a good fit if you are:

  • caring for a senior or aging dog

  • navigating chronic illness or gradual decline

  • noticing changes that feel difficult to interpret alone

  • facing end-of-life decisions and wanting thoughtful guidance

  • grieving changes that are already happening, even before goodbye

You do not need to know what comes next to reach out.

My approach

I work with dogs across the lifespan and hold deep respect for the complexity of end-of-life care — especially when behavior, pain, safety, or uncertainty are part of the picture.

My role is to listen carefully, offer informed perspective without pressure, and help slow decision-making when possible. I support thoughtful, compassionate choices and walk beside you through conversations many people feel unprepared to have.

There is no “right” decision — only decisions made with care, information, and love.

Senior & End-of-Life Support is offered as a month-to-month subscription, designed to provide continuity without obligation.

Ongoing Support: $395/month

Includes:

  • an initial longer conversation (75–90 minutes)

  • ongoing email or text message check-ins

  • optional brief follow-ups as needs change

  • flexibility to reach out as questions arise

Subscriptions are easy to start and easy to cancel, with no minimum commitment.

Some guardians begin with a single conversation and choose to continue with ongoing support afterward.

What this support is not

This is not behaviour modification or performance-based training.
This is not medical or veterinary care.

Instead, this is relational, reflective support that centers your dog’s lived experience and the bond you share.
