You and your dog have been working hard
You’re here for a reason.
Dog dance is a conversation, set to music — your dog reading your body, you reading theirs, both of you finding the same beat.
What I notice every time: every dog's tail is wagging, the entire session. Not the start, not the easy parts. The whole thing.
Try the dance below and play a little with your dog.
Your trainer sent you here because the work you're doing with your dog needs a place to rest, too.
Behaviour work asks a lot of both of you: patience, repetition, staying steady through the parts that don't go well yet. Dance doesn't replace that work. It runs alongside it: no correction, no protocol, just the two of you finding a beat together.
You don't need finished skills. You just need a few minutes where the only goal is being in the room together. You and your dog can still have fun together while you’re doing the hard behaviour work.
If you'd like more of this, full choreographies, a ton of tricks, and a lovely community live inside my online dog dance membership: new routines, at your own pace, no class schedule required.
