FAQs

  • The Puppy Path is an online membership designed to guide you step-by-step through the first months of life with your puppy. From house training and socialization to enrichment, handling, and early leash skills, each guide helps you raise a confident, connected companion you’ll love living with.

  • This program is perfect for new puppy guardians or anyone raising a pup under 12 months of age. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I knew how to stop the biting and peeing,” or “I want my puppy to grow up confident and happy,” this membership is for you.

  • Puppies of most ages can join. We recommend starting around 8 weeks, because that’s when puppies are ready to begin basic learning (socialization, potty training, etc.). However, even if your puppy is 4-6 months old (or even up to two years!), Puppy Path can still help a lot — it's designed to grow with your pup.

  • Every month, you’ll receive:

    • Two Lessons with step-by-step training, covering everything from daily life skills to leash walking.

    • One Play & Enrichment Activity to keep your puppy curious and engaged.

    • One Live Office Hour where you can ask questions about the lessons you’re working on.

    • One Guardian Project to help you reflect on your journey and notice your puppy’s growth.

    Lessons are short, practical, and designed to fit into real life, so you can start right away.

  • We focus on the biggest priorities for puppies, such as:

    • Potty training and crate training

    • Biting, chewing, and play manners

    • Socialization and confidence-building

    • Handling and vet/grooming prep

    • Leash skills and early recall

    • Preventing problem behaviours before they start

    You’ll also find creative Guardian Projects to help you notice how raising your puppy is shaping you, too.

  • Puppies learn best in short bursts, so lessons are designed to be practiced in 3–5 minute sessions throughout the day. Training fits right into daily life—potty breaks, mealtimes, play, and walks.

  • Not much! You’ll just need the basics: a collar or harness, leash, treats, a comfy bed or crate, and some toys. A long line and food puzzles are helpful as your puppy grows, but not required to get started.

  • Yes. Lessons are released monthly, but you can revisit them anytime. Puppies develop at different speeds, so you’re never “behind”; you’ll always have support for the stage your pup is in.

  • Yes! Each month includes a live office hour where you can ask questions about the lessons and get quick guidance. You’ll also have access to recorded lessons so you can review as often as you need.

    If you’d like more in-depth, personalized coaching for your unique puppy, you can always upgrade to a 1:1 membership option for direct support.

  • I use only positive reinforcement and science-based methods. That means no punishment, no harsh corrections, and no fear-based tools. Instead, we focus on rewarding what you do want, managing the environment, and giving your dog clear communication they can succeed with.

  • Yes! Puppies are learning sponges. The Puppy Path is designed to help you build good habits early, prevent problem behaviours, and create a foundation of trust and connection. Even a few minutes of practice each day adds up to big changes over time.

  • The Puppy Path is designed for normal puppy challenges like biting, potty training, and socialization. If your puppy is showing signs of severe fear, aggression, or ongoing health concerns, I recommend reaching out for 1:1 behaviour support alongside this program.

  • Currently our Self-Guided Membership is $97 / month. Our 1:1 Coaching, which includes everything in the Self-Guided Membership is $475 / month. Membership includes new monthly lessons, live support, and access to your training library as long as you’re enrolled.

  • Because of the digital nature of this program, all sales are final and there are no refunds once you sign up. You’re always welcome to cancel your ongoing membership at any time to stop future billing.

  • No — once you join, your price is locked in for the duration of your membership. Even if the program price increases in the future, you’ll continue paying the same rate you signed up with, as long as your membership remains active.
